JOAN LANDRY – Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra Music Director


JOAN LANDRY is the Music Director of the Arlington Philharmonic, Music Director of the Bay Youth Symphony at the South Shore Conservatory and Cover Conductor with the Boston Pops. Most recently Joan was Music Director of the Cape Cod Symphony Youth Orchestra and Associate Conductor of the Cape Cod Symphony.

During her Cape Cod Symphony tenure, Maestro Landry wrote and hosted concerts for young people, serving nearly ten thousand students over three seasons. She has conducted the Cape Cod Symphony in the sold out pops program “Oh What A Night” and appeared on their Holiday, Summer and New Year’s concert series. Joan increased enrollment of the Cape Cod Symphony Youth Orchestra by 50 percent, performing across the Cape and traveling with the orchestra to Nantucket and New Bedford.

Maestro Landry has guest conducted the Boston Landmarks Orchestra, Honolulu Symphony, Hawaii Ballet, Hawaii Theater for Youth, All Cape Festival, Cape Canal Festival Youth Orchestra, American Festival for the Arts, Triangle Youth Orchestra, Moldovan Radio Symphony, Karlovy Vary Philharmonic and the Virginia, Oregon, Milwaukee, National, Springfield MA, Midland MI and Northeastern Pennsylvania Symphonies.
